Christmas Cold Brews: Eggnog and Chocolate Peppermint

Want a delicious cold brew that doesn’t cost $6, a trip to the store, and human interaction? I’ll show you how to make two wonderful winter cold brews – egg nog cream cold brew and chocolate peppermint cold brew – that both take less than a minute to make in this YouTube video (don’t forget to subscribe to the channel and like the video!)

I love Starbucks as much as the next person, but with all of this time being spent at home instead of at the office where a Starbucks was in the lobby, I’ve been fending for myself in the cold brew department. These are delicious, they cost almost nothing to make, and are just so much better than Starbuck’s winter options. I’m sure these would be great additions to hot coffee as well, but you know me, iced coffee forever!

Egg Nog Cream Cold Brew Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 cup egg nog

1/2 cup ice

1 cup cold brew

pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

In a blender or bowl with a hand mixer, whip together the egg nog and heavy cream until lighter in color and about 50% increase in volume which should be about a minute. In a glass, add the ice, pour over the cold brew coffee, and top with the egg nog cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Store remaining cream in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.

Chocolate Peppermint Cream Cold Brew Recipe

1 cup heavy whipping cream

Happy Eating (and drinking!)
